The Most Important Election Of Our Lifetime...Again

As we head into this election, and opt to vote for our favorite team, recall if you can what America is supposed to be about. Its not about owning people through the proxy arm of the government. It's not about existing under a never ending feudal system of debt servitude. It's about having the freedom to secure a livelyhood unencumbered. Period. That's it. No other guarantees. You may not get your little pink house and your white picket fence. What you should be able to do is to earn a living without someone in your pocket.

The definition of tax is this - a compulsory contribution to state revenue, levied by the government on workers' income and business profits, or added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions.
Please note the use of the word compulsory. That means "have to pay it, or else."

The definition of indentured servitude is this - An indentured servant or indentured laborer is an employee (indenturee) within a system of unfree labor who is bound by a signed or forced contract (indenture) to work without pay for the owner of the indenture for a period of time.

That should read "with or without pay" as oftentimes contracts of indenture would be in exchange for some other tangible goods or service.
Note the use of the terms "signed" or "forced" contract. The "forced" contract in America would be your birth certificate, identifying you as a US citizen and held by the government as a type of labor security against prior debt.

The Thirteenth amendment to the constitution expressly forbade slavery or indentured servitude within the United States. There was a pretty big kerfuffle over that, from what I hear.

Then, not 50 or so years after that was done, along comes the 16th Amendment, the one that levied a tax on income, not apportioned to the census. Near as I can tell, that directly conflicts with the 13th Amendment outlawing indentured servitude except upon conviction of a crime.

Keeping that in mind, and keeping in mind that the thing we think makes America so great is its freedom and opportunities for so many who would otherwise be cast aside, when you vote this November for any party who pledges to uphold our system of taxation(that would be both the major ones, in case you were wondering), you'll be voting to uphold a system of expressly illegal indentured servitude.

The only ways out of it are to 1) Vote for a third party pledging to abolish the 16th Amendment and institute a more voluntary system of taxation or B) Don't vote at all....and do both en masse.

Solar Power Is A Scam

Solar power is the next thing to a scam. Its seen as a silver bullet in the effort to combat global warming, but rarely if ever are its drawbacks detailed. A 1500 square foot home with an average electrical consumption of 1000 kwh per month would require an 18,000 watt solar power system, with installation costs ranging from $2.75 per watt for a grid tied system with no battery backup, which would provide somewhere in the neighborhood of 60% of a homes power needs, to $5 per watt for a system with battery backup that would supply 100% of a homes power needs. That means an initial cost of somewhere between $16,500 and $30,000 for a 6 kw system. With an average monthly bill of $160, that means around a 14 to 15.5 year return on investment. There are tax credits available to bring that cost down, so, by robbing your neighbor, you can cut your installation costs by 25-50%, depending on where you live. Add to that the costs of maintenance, which can vary depending on the system but with an almost guaranteed battery replacement, and possibly two, over the life of the system which averages 25-30 years, you're looking at maintenance costing between $5000-$15,000. Then you have the environmental impacts of solar panel and battery production and end of life disposal to worry about. No infrastructure exists today to efficiently recycle solar panels, so they go to landfills where heavy metals used in their production leach into the soil. At the end of the day, it is possible to just about break even on the installation of a solar system, as long as you rob your neighbor to do it.
